There have been a few more earth quakes in the Dominican Republic. The latest happened just a few minutes ago at about 4:50 pm. This quake could be felt in the Le Vega Cotui area.
Nothing too bad here just enough to be noticeable. As I collect more information on the epicenter I’ll post it on this thread.

First update on the earthquake it was located
35 km (21 miles) NNE of San Francisco de Macoris, D.R.
67 km (41 miles) ENE of Santiago, Dominican Republic
123 km (76 miles) N of SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic
1246 km (774 miles) ESE of Miami, Florida
The quake was a magnitude of 5.1

The Quake was also felt in the Puerto Rico cities of Cabo Rojo and Mayaguez.
Other places in the Dominican Republic that felt the quake include Fantino, Azua, Bajos de Haina, Bonao, Cabrera, Cayetano Germosén, Cotuí, Dajabón, Gaspar Hernández, Higüey, Jarabacoa, La Vega, Las Terrenas, Moca, Montellano, Nagua, Otra Banda, Puerto Plata, Sabana de la Mar, Salcedo, Samaná, San Francisco de Macorís,San Pedro de Macorís, Santiago, Santo Domingo, Sosúa, Tenares, Villa Bisonó, Villa González, and Yaguate.

My husband and I are need-greaters in Belize and have friends in Cabrera, DR.
